Lily Curley is a multi-medium artist. Her artwork is often created with watercolor, acrylic or oil paint, and later detailed with collage elements. Being raised by a mother who is a ceramic artist, her artistic pursuits were encouraged and embraced. In 2011 she graduated from Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts/ Pre-Art Therapy.
Her work was exhibited in Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. 2015-2018. Lily’s illustrations have also been featured on social media by companies such as Pentalic Art Supplies and RAW Artists. In 2017, her work caught the eye of an organizer of the SMYAL Annual Fall Brunch. She was asked to submit artwork for the SMYAL Silent Auction, profits of which would support services for LGBTQ youth. In 2011 she assisted and led art workshops for underprivileged teens through Doorways for Women and Children. Later, in 2013 she created and taught an art and movement program for young children.
Lily currently resides in Denver, Colorado with her two cats and husband. Her days are spent working full time on commissions and completing her current series of surrealist paintings. She is actively pursuing opportunities to exhibiting her work, connect with other artists, and building her business, Adventures in Lilyland.
